Lemon Myrtle is a flowing plant in the family Myrtaceae and grows in subtropical rainforests of central and south-eastern Queensland, Australia. It has a rich lemon fragrance and has been used by Australian Aborigines for both cooking and healing. Lemon Myrtle Extract contains anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative properties, and for these purposes, it could be used as a potential therapeutic agent for inflammatory diseases.
